Privacy policy

How we handle personal data when you visit this website or get in touch with us. Last updated: September 2026.

1. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:

AlgoMind
Grabower Str. 41
39288 Burg
Germany
Email: consulting@algomind.com

2. Visiting this website

When you open this website, the hosting server automatically records information that your browser transmits. This includes:

  • IP address of the requesting device
  • Date and time of the request
  • Page or file requested and the amount of data transferred
  • Website from which the request came (referrer)
  • Browser type and version, and operating system

We process this data to deliver the website, to keep it stable and secure, and to investigate misuse. The legal basis is Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure and reliable operation of the website. Log data is kept only for as long as it is needed to operate the website securely and is deleted after a short retention period, unless a security incident requires longer storage.

Hosting

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. The provider processes the data named above on our behalf under a data processing agreement in accordance with Article 28 GDPR. The servers are located in the European Union.

3. Contacting us

If you write to us by email or through the contact form, we process the details you provide, such as your name, email address, organisation and the content of your message, in order to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or steps prior to a contract, and Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR in all other cases. Our legitimate interest lies in answering enquiries addressed to us.

We delete your enquiry once it has been dealt with and no statutory retention periods apply. Business correspondence is kept for the periods required by German commercial and tax law.

Contact form

Messages sent through the contact form are transmitted to us by email. We do not store them in a separate database.

Spam protection with Cloudflare Turnstile

To protect the contact form against spam and automated requests, we use Cloudflare Turnstile, a service provided by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you open the home page, which contains the contact form, your browser loads a script from Cloudflare servers. Turnstile evaluates technical signals, in particular your IP address, TLS fingerprint and browser identifier (user agent) as well as the website being visited, and uses them to tell people from bots. Cloudflare processes this data on our behalf to detect bots, and as a controller in its own right to improve its bot detection. The legal basis is Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in protecting the form against misuse. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. For more information, see Cloudflare's Turnstile privacy addendum.

4. Cookies, analytics and tracking

This website sets one technically necessary cookie to remember your language choice and a session cookie to protect the contact form. It does not set cookies for analytics or advertising, does not use tracking tools and does not create user profiles.

5. Fonts and external content

The fonts (Outfit and Manrope) and the Bootstrap and jQuery libraries are served from our own web server. Opening a page therefore does not connect your browser to Google or any other third party. The only exception is the spam protection on the home page (Cloudflare Turnstile, see section 3). No further external content such as maps or videos is embedded.

6. Recipients and transfers to third countries

We do not sell personal data and do not pass it on to third parties, except to the service providers named in this policy who process it on our behalf. Where a provider is based outside the European Union or the European Economic Area, the transfer rests on the EU standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision of the European Commission.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the following rights with regard to your personal data:

  • Right of access (Article 15 GDPR)
  • Right to rectification (Article 16 GDPR)
  • Right to erasure (Article 17 GDPR)
  • Right to restriction of processing (Article 18 GDPR)
  • Right to data portability (Article 20 GDPR)
  • Right to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Article 21 GDPR)
  • Right to withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future (Article 7 (3) GDPR)

To exercise any of these rights, write to consulting@algomind.com.

Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Article 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is:

Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz Sachsen-Anhalt
Otto-von-Guericke-Straße 34a
39104 Magdeburg
Germany

8. Obligation to provide data and automated decisions

You are not obliged to provide personal data in order to use this website. If you contact us, we need the details required to answer your enquiry. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR.

9. Changes to this policy

We update this privacy policy when our website or the legal requirements change. The version published on this page applies.
